We welcome you to celebrate the New England Women’s Leadership Awards’ 30th Anniversary with us, as we continue to recognize and honor remarkable women who meet the challenges they face with confidence, persistence and compassion. NEWLA was one of the first events of its kind in the Boston area, so far recognizing 137 outstanding women.
Our honorees are role models and mentors for our members – their stories inspire our young girls (and boys) to dream big, work hard and succeed. We hope you will join us this year for another evening that will touch hearts and change lives.
Our annual “Bright Futures” Grand Drawing Gala is one of our premier fundraising events focused on raising critical funds for Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester.
The event features a fabulous silent auction, live auction, spectacular venue, dancing to one of Boston’s popular live bands, and a chance to win one of our amazing Grand Prizes.
The Rodman Ride for Kids is an annual fundraising bike ride takes place in September. This is one of our major fundraising events throughout the year.
Whether you get on a bike to ride 25 or 50 miles in Foxboro, choose your own adventure as a virtual rider, or just spread the word – you’re making a difference!
Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (BGCD) is proud to be part of the Official B.A.A. Boston Marathon® Charity Program, with 15 entries for the 2023 Boston Marathon®.
These entries give runners who were ineligible or unable to obtain a qualifying timed entry for the Boston Marathon® through B.A.A. an opportunity to participate. In addition to these 15 invitational entries, our BGCD team welcomes qualified runners who have secured their own entry from the B.A.A. and are already entered into the 2023 B.A.A. Boston Marathon®.
