As summer came to an end and before the new school year began, 85 excited members of BGCD got a well-deserved treat: a fun-filled field trip to Hershey Park in Pennsylvania! Thanks to the support of the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation members spent a 3 day trip enjoying roller coasters, water rides, and of course plenty of delicious Hershey’s chocolate! For many, it was their first visit to the iconic amusement park, and a perfect way to celebrate the end of another summer of learning, growth, and friendship. The trip offered more than just thrills, it was about creating memories filled with joy and laughter.
