Happy 50th Anniversary to BGCD! On July 4, 1974, we opened our doors on Deer Street as The Colonel Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Club. With the vision and support of Robert Marr, Dan Marr Jr and the Marr Family, they rallied partners and friends to build our first Clubhouse. Over the years, we have expanded our footprint with the opening of the McLaughlin Center in 2000 and the Walter Denney Youth Center in 2003. As we look towards the future, we are excited to expand our offerings to serve the next generation as we break ground on the new Fieldhouse+ in 2025!
For 50 years BGCD has created countless memories, built strong relationships and provided great futures for thousands of youth and families in our communities.
