On May 13th, BGCD proudly hosted the 32nd Annual New England Women’s Leadership Awards (NEWLA) — a signature evening celebrating the extraordinary achievements of women who inspire and empower the next generation.
This year, we were honored to recognize Lisa Donovan, Kiss 108 Radio Host & Founder of Lisa’s Book Club, Harmoni Turner, Harvard Women’s Basketball standout, USA Gold Medalist & Founder of Pretty N’ Secure and The Women of the Corcoran Family — Tricia Corcoran Chapple, Kathryn Corcoran, Suzanne Corcoran Early, Gayle Corcoran, and Linda Corcoran as recipients of the Circle of Giving Award for their enduring impact and generosity.
The event was elevated by the leadership of Event Chair Annissa Essaibi George, the warmth and energy of Emcee Lisa Hughes of WBZ-TV, and a moving keynote speech delivered by BGCD’s own Leticia Gomes.
We are especially proud of our incredible members who brought the evening to life as greeters, artists, performers, and presenters. Their talents and poise made the celebration truly unforgettable.
