Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester is excited to share that our Youth of the Year candidate Deshawn V. has been selected as the Massachusetts Youth of the Year at the statewide event! Deshawn joined 34 outstanding youth leaders from Clubs across the state at the event which was held at Gillette Stadium. Deshawn will now head to the Northeast regional judging to be held in June in New York City.
We are proud to share this incredible honor for Deshawn with the BGCD community and would like to wish him the best as he moves on to represent our Clubs and the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs in the next phase of the competition!
