Thank you to Governor Maura Healey and the Massachusetts Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs for opening the door to an extraordinary experience for our teens! A group of BGCD teens scored the ultimate opportunity: attending opening night of the World Cup to witness the thrilling soccer match between Haiti and Scotland! From the roaring crowds to all the action, the stadium’s electric atmosphere gave our members an experience they will be talking about for years to come. We appreciate Governor Healey’s dedication to including youth in these historic events, and shoutout to the MA Alliance for coordinating the logistics behind the scenes!
