Each child that walks through our doors has one unique future. One may come from a loving single parent family. One may speak little English. One may not have a home. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester, it is our job and our mission to direct each of these youth towards positive roles in society. We fulfill this mission one child at a time. We have the power to impact the life of each and every child we serve. Therefore, we want young people to come to our Club, take part in our exciting programs and be inspired to come back.
The ONE CAMPAIGN is an exciting new fundraising initiative. It is a Board-driven effort, during a defined period of time, to secure unrestricted operating funds from individuals while demonstrating the impact of our Club's mission. The campaign is designed to engage current Board members and donors, to identify new potential donors.

In recent years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester has experienced phenomenal growth. In the past four years we have:
- Expanded from one site to three sites
- Increased membership from 2,600 to nearly 4,000
- Doubled our operating budget and staff including key administrative positions
In order to continue to serve our current 4,000 members with the quality of programs for which we are known, we must find new sources of funds. Nationally 85% of all charitable giving is done on an individual giving basis. It is up to us to open up our Boys and Girls Club to more individuals in order to have greater impact.
