Rodman Ride for Kids

Saturday, September 25, 2010

Foxboro, MA

The BGCD is proud to partner with the Rodman Ride for Kids, an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies in Massachusetts. The Rodman Ride for Kids is the Clubs largest fundraiser and raised over $330,000 in 2009 for the BGCD!

Each year many generous Club supporters dust off their bikes and hit the road for a fun day of celebration and support. We ask you to consider becoming involved this year as a rider, supporter or simply to make a donation and cheer on the Club Teams!

Our Club is so grateful to each and every donor who supports our riders – for every dollar you give, the Ride matches with a 10 cent donation.  This means every dollar donated to the Ride equals $1.10 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester.

The Rodman Ride for Kids supports many Club activities including Disney for Kids, Marilyn Rodman Theater for Kids and other vacations and programs that give the members at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester educational and fun opportunities!

We would be honored to have YOU with us as we partner with the Rodman Ride for their 20th Anniversary!  With your help we can provide today's Club members with safe, educational and life-enriching experiences.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR:

Select a sponsorship level, starting at $2,000. Click here to see sponsorship levels. Each sponsor will receive recognition and will have the option of sending a team of riders from their company. 100% of your sponsorship directly supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester.

RIDE :

Join a team or start your own and ride in the event!  There are three distances you may choose from: 25 miles, 50 miles and 100 miles.  Each rider is asked to raise $1,000 to benefit the Club. Get creative and ask your company to sponsor you, put it on facebook, host a fundraiser, etc. If you want to ride, please do not let the fundraising stop you from participating. Our staff will support you in this effort and make sure you have the tools needed to be successful. Follow these instructions to sign up and set up your own fundraising page.

1.    Click here

2.    Start a Team, Join a Team or Ride as an Individual
